Equal Employment Opportunity Task Force - Public Agencies

Objective: In the face of continued disparity in hiring of African Americans in our public agencies, this task force is authorized by the Executive Committee to conduct a campaign (short of initiating direct action, such as a boycott or lawsuit) for the purpose of eliminating those disparities in city, school district, and county employment.

Voter Registration

Activation Date: 09/13/2011

Purpose: To plan and execute a voter registration drive for 2012 elections. 2012 VOTER REGISTRATION PLAN Template.doc

Past Actions: Partnership with Delta Sigma Theta which will ensure a strong turnout of community voters in the November 6, 2011 local elections; Ensure people understand the new Instant Runoff voting system.

Ward 1 Candidate Forum

Purpose: Plan and execute a Saint Paul City Council Ward 1 Candidate Forum on civil rights.
